We provide school fees, necessary books, supplies uniforms to support girls from primary school through secondary school, college and beyond that.
Al-Haj Hafiz Saheb Ali was born in 1913 in a remote village of Uttar Pradesh in India. He memorized the Holy Quran at the age of 13 and came to Mumbai for further studies.
In Mumbai, he taught Islamic subjects in several leading Islamic Seminaries. Being an Islamic Scholar he needs no introduction in Mumbai's Muslim fraternity. Besides this, he worked in textiles industries in Ambika Silk Milks as a weaver.
Al-Haj Hafiz Saheb Ali died in July 2005 in Mumbai, after his death his sons and followers decided to establish a society in the name and memory of Late Al-Haj Hafiz Saheb Ali. So after holding a meeting of our advisory council we formed a society called as 'Al-Haj Hafiz Saheb Ali Memorial Society'. This project is carried out by the above mentioned Al-Haj Hafiz Saheb Ali Memorial Society.
As a first step, we decided to provide modern education to Muslim Girls in Islamic atmosphere, for this we chose Dharamsinghwa village of Sant Kabir Nagar a District of Uttar Pradesh (the birth place of Late Al-Haj Hafiz Saheb Ali).
We purchased a land admeasuring 16000 Sq.Ft in Dharamsinghwa village. On that land we constructed 8 class rooms each of which measures 20x25 Sq.Ft on an area of 7000 Sq.Ft on Ground Floor and started the Primary School & High School in the name of Ittehad Girls Inter College. At present our classes start from L.K.G till S.S.C (10th) in which 536 girls students are studying. After this we planned to provide education facilities upto standard 12th (H.S.C) but due to shortage of class rooms we started construction of first floor which is currently in progress.
Uttar Pradesh, one of the poorest states of India, is populated by two third of total Muslim population of the country. Muslims living here are poorer and backward in every walk of life, than those who are living in other states of the country. The most shocking aspect is that here Muslims are deprived of high professional education and are poorly represented in the Indian politics. Of course, there are Primary Schools, High School, Degree Colleges and Universities managed by State and Central Government.
Sant Kabir Nagar is a backward District of U.P. (India) with lack of noticeable education facilities, institutions, establishments, industry and modern technology which has no prominent facility for Muslim girls
Al-Haj Hafiz Saheb Ali Memorial society takes this great chance to empower Muslim girls with modern as well theological education. We Pray that ALLAH, the ALMIGHTY will help us in this noble cause.
